By creating an account or using Mealpen, you agree to these terms.

1. What Mealpen is

Mealpen is a nutrition planning tool. It uses artificial intelligence to suggest meal plans, recipes and grocery lists for people who take, or have taken, GLP-1 medications such as semaglutide or tirzepatide.

2. Not medical advice

Mealpen does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it never tells you how to take, dose, start or stop any medication. Meal plans are general suggestions generated by AI and may contain errors. Always follow the advice of the clinician who prescribes your medication, and check with them before making significant changes to how you eat, especially if you have diabetes, kidney disease, a history of pancreatitis or gallbladder problems, an eating disorder, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.

If you experience severe or persistent nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, signs of dehydration or low blood sugar, contact a healthcare provider or emergency services.

3. Allergies and food safety

You are responsible for checking every ingredient against your allergies and intolerances, and for safe food preparation. AI-generated recipes may not reflect every restriction you enter.

4. No affiliation

Mealpen is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly or any other medication manufacturer. Medication names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

5. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use Mealpen. You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for all activity under your account.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your profile, and your paid features stay active until the end of the period you have paid for. Payments are processed by Stripe.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other accounts, or use automated means to generate content in bulk beyond your plan's limits.

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mealpen is not liable for any loss or harm arising from your use of meal plans or other content.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
